A Strong Foundation
The key to training is to build a strong
body, and you cannot have a strong body without having
a strong and stable foundation, or core. The Tranz4m system
begins its with a foundation of “foundation” exercises.
Each workout begins with the same eight foundation exercises
that are described and illustrated in our fitness manual.
Total Body Workout –
To be fit and healthy, you need to train
your body as a whole. This will help your to stay in balance
and maximize the use of your time. The Tranz4m System is
based on 2 workouts done twice a week each. The first is
a general conditioning circuit which you can do anywhere,
all you need is the ground beneath your feet and a chair
or two steps. The second workout is
a gym-based weight workout, which is also a total body
circuit.
Mark and Donovan's
Rules
Mark and Donovan’s have developed a simple set of rules that act as a
foundation on which the program is built. These rules will allow you to experience
extraordinary results and a breakthrough in your personal health and well-being.
These rules are:
- Keep it simple. Training and nutrition
are not rocket science. Forget about gimmicks, gadgets,
fads, and diets.
- Human nature is to take the path
of least resistance. If we have a choice of less
work versus more work, most people take less work.
- If you are looking for the easy
way out, you have already lost. There is no easy
way. Success equals work. You have to do what it
takes. That’s the bad news.
- The good news is we can minimize
your efforts and maximize your results. With proper
training you can achieve all your goals in less time.
- It takes as much if not more effort
to produce poor results as to produce great results.
So you may as well choose to produce great results.
- You have been brainwashed into thinking
a bodybuilder’s workout is healthy for you.
It’s not. Your body is a machine built to move,
not stand still. Also, you use your whole body in
every activity, so it makes sense that you work your
whole body in every workout.
- If you take in more than you expend,
you will gain weight.
- If you can’t control your
body, you can’t control weights. Ergo, don’t
start lifting weights until you can control your
body
- Learn how to control your body by
stabilizing your foundation (pelvis, stomach, back,
and chest).
- If you keep doing what you’ve
always done, you’ll keep getting what you’ve
always got.
- You need a program that’s
short, easy to learn, and delivers results.
- To get maximum results, you need
to train at maximum intensity and get plenty of rest.
- More muscle mass = more burned fat
at a resting state.
- Muscle works for you, fat works
against you. You carry fat and you use muscle. Excess
fat puts negative stress on your entire body. Ergo,
your goal is to eliminate excess fat.
